Rod Streets is a transformational Chief Financial Officer renowned for driving corporate growth, operational excellence, and financial performance. As CFO of San Antonio based Alterman, the largest electrical contractor in Texas, Rod has spearheaded strategic initiatives, including reducing the annual audit process by four months, implementing key performance indicators and dashboards, reduced the cash conversion cycle by 72 days, and more than doubled topline revenue while reducing SGA expense from 14% of revenue to 10%.
In previous CFO roles Rod led teams in raising gross margins from 11.8% to 27.2%, reducing the month-end close process from 45 to 10 days, spearheaded ERP conversions, enhanced financial operations, streamlined reporting, and implemented Lean and Six Sigma strategies to optimize efficiency.
Rod is a Certified Management Accountant, a Six Sigma Black Belt, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University.
Recognized as one of San Antonio’s Top 25 CFOs in 2024, he also serves on the boards of Employee-Owned S Corporations of America and City of Live Oak Economic Development Corporation.
